The Iona Gallery is in Kingussie, in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, immediately adjacent to the main A9 north road from Perth to Inverness, a little more than one hour north of Perth and no more than a couple of hours from anywhere in the Central Belt. Think of a visit as an ideal day trip, with more galleries, shops and cafes in both Kingussie and nearby Newtonmore as well as the Highland Folk Museum to visit - all free to enter.
We are also on the Highland Main Line rail service, not only from Glasgow and Edinburgh but also through services from London.

driving - from the south :
A9 north from Perth. 64 miles, take junction to Newtonmore, follow road through Newtonmore, passing Highland Folk Museum on your right at northern end of the village. Enter Kingussie, turn right at Duke Street (1st right after the traffic lights)
Iona Gallery on your right at end of road. Car Park directly in front of you.

driving - from the north :
A9 south from Inverness 43 miles, take juncion for Kingussie, turn right off junction, enter town, take third left - Duke Street.
Iona Gallery on your right at end of strreet. Car Park directly in front of you.

train :
on alighting, walk out of the station and cross the road. continue along Spey Street, crossing the River Gynack, with the war memorial garden on your left. Continue down Spey Street approximately 400 yards.
Spey Street ends with the Iona Gallery on your left on the corner with Duke Street.
